2010 Americas !!!

Our journey to North and Central America by a Sailing boat started in August 2009.

The aim of this blog is to enrich our experience with the American and Latin cultures.

Transportation:

1. Europe (Greece) to America (Florida) by air (Delta Airlines)
2. Over North America (Florida -> Vancouver) by air and land
3. Along North America's Pacific coast by a sailing boat!

The Team

The onboard core Team is compised of three people:

1. Stefan Kefalonitis: metallurgical engineer, owner of the boat
2. Evangelos Tsoukas: neurologist
3. 2-3 other sailors

The Boat

The sailing boat is named 'Odadis' has a 'ketch' type (ie with two masts) and is 48 feet long.

1. 2009 20.July - 20.August: Vancouver, BC, Canada
2. 2009 10.August - 30.August: Sailing
3. 2009 1.September - 1.January: Ensenada, Mexico
